This cake is a great dessert idea! It’s full of fruit and what is more important its baked with a little bit of fat. It’s not the lightest but with a whipped cream it tastes excellent!
Ingredients about 2 big apples 2 eggs 5,5 oz (160 g) sugar 8,4 fl oz (240 ml) natural yoghurt 1 teaspoon baking powder 9 oz (250 g) wheat flour (optional some milk if the batter if too thick- I didn’t add it)
Method Beat the eggs with sugar until fluffy. Add sieved flour, baking powder and yoghurt. Gently stir in diced apples. Spoon the batter into the 10 inch/ 25 cm cake pan, bake for 50 min. at 380F/ 190 oC. Serve with whipped cream.
